Contributor's Guidelines So, you want to be a part of Outcast? Here are some things you shoudl keep in mind when submitting your articles, stories, poetry, or artwork: Don't submit things if you're not a youth from Haliburton county. Preferably, you're even attending Hal High. This is meant to be an e-zine by an outcasted student, for the other outcasted students who love to express themselves through their creative endeavors. There is no limit on the length of any submissions, but please keep the audience in mind. Some people spend their entire lunchhour on the internet, other people just want to read a snippet of poetry at break. When emailling articles, please save them in text (.TXT) format. This makes it easier for me to edit the page from the comfort of my own home. Pictures can either be handed to Vanessa Smith at school or sent in JPEG (.JPG) format to email address above. I believe in freedom of speech just as much as the next person, but seeing as this started as a project, teachers may still be checking up on me. Therefore, please keep the profanity to a minimum. Thank you! Also, don't send inappropriate pictures. Believe me, they will *NOT* be posted, and you may just receive a nasty email from an angry editor as your reply....
